ABOUT
Hi, it’s me, Xandra. I’m an award-winning journalist and audio producer dedicated to telling stories that leave listeners curious about the world around them and feeling more connected to their community.
Based in Philadelphia, I’ve reported and produced for Colorado Public Radio, NPR, and City Cast, and now work independently with academic and research institutions on podcast development, production, editing and story strategy.
What I Do
Podcast Production for Higher Ed

Since 2023, I’ve been helping universities launch podcasts that amplify the work being done by their faculty and alumni. It’s been a fun, new way to go deep on big research questions.
Reporting and Narrative Production
Working for outlets like Colorado Public Radio and City Cast, I’ve reported on arts, culture, politics, the environment, public health, and social justice.

Creator, Host | How We Met: A Queer Love Archive

I am the host and creator of the podcast, How We Met: A Queer Love Archive. How We Met is a non-narrated podcast that shares real stories of how LGBTQ couples fell in love, in their own words. This project aims to serve two purposes: Amplify queer joy and serve as a historical record for queer people’s experiences, across generations, through the lens of love.
